I had the opportunity to work with Barry Sonnenfeld on the movie RV in January, 2006. Little did I know he was directing and producing this TV show, a single-camera, half-hour comedy about life in L.A. during pregnancy. Barry tells me that over dinner one night, James Newton Howard said "Why don't you have Blake score it? He wrote one of your favorite cues in RV." (Thank you, James!)
